Struck by Devastating News — But Bayede! Rises Again

We were struck by devastating news.

The flood had destroyed our bottled Bayede! wines.

Suddenly, we were faced with a reality that no business wants to experience:

No wine available for sale.
No wine to load confirmed orders.
No stock to supply our customers.
No sales meant no income.

Behind every damaged bottle were months of work, investment and commitment. More importantly, behind every bottle are people whose livelihoods depend on Bayede! — our team, our partners and the women whose hands create our beautiful beadwork.

The impact was enormous.

But giving up was never an option.

We started again

Step by step, we began rebuilding. Production had to be reorganised, new bottling schedules secured and our wines reproduced.

While our wines were being brought back to life, our beading ladies were also hard at work, creating new handcrafted beaded bracelets and rings — each one a reminder of the people behind the Bayede! story.

And now, after an incredibly difficult period, we can finally share the good news:

BAYEDE! WINES ARE BACK AND AVAILABLE FOR SALE

Our wines are once again ready for customers, orders can be placed, and we can start rebuilding what was lost.

Every new order matters.
Every bottle sold matters.
Every customer who supports Bayede! matters.

The flood destroyed our stock, but it did not destroy our determination, our people or our hope for the future.

We lost much. But we rise again.
