BORN TO BEAD  
Multi-skilled crafter Yolisa Fuma
The warm smile belongs to Yolisa Fuma - literally meaning 'smile', and 'warm'. An accomplished crafter in the varied crafts of beading, crocheting, embroidery and fabric painting, she has come a long and arduous way to the present. Her employment with BAYEDE! as specialist beader now enables her to provide for her own family as well as for a brother who suffered a stroke, a sister who takes care of him, and the six children from those two families.
BAYEDE! Beading Workshop
BAYEDE! played an important role by training women from the community to do beadwork at the Ikwesi Training Centre in Mbekweni, Paarl.
BAYEDE! supports fundrasing for Rusoord Old Age Home
Doreen Flemming, senior citizen at Rustoord Old Age Home, produces handcrafted items such as scented bags and tea cosies. BAYEDE! uses Doreen as supplier, as part of our Social Responsibility, to help raise funds for her Home.
