More than 20 countries have already confirmed their presence at the 57th edition of the Maputo International Fair (FACIM), which will take place from August 29 to September 4 in Ricatla, Marracuene district, Maputo province.
The organisers expect 1,750 national and 350 foreign companies to participate in this year’s event, with more than 50,000 visitors expected following the reopening of the domestic and global market after two years of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Among the countries already confirmed are South Africa, Germany, Botswana, Brazil, South Korea, Spain, France, Indonesia, Italy, Israel, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Portugal, United Kingdom, Rwanda, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Zimbabwe and The Netherlands, totalling 22 countries, against 13 in the previous edition.
